With the desire to serve up the best tasting Mexican food
ever in Los Angeles, the Herrera family started what has become a bright
spot on L.A.’s culinary map. The culmination of their efforts came in 2005
when Yuca’s won the coveted James Beard Award in the “America’s Classics”
category. The award acknowledged what loyal customers and various print
